Description

One of several mid-20th century experiments by blenders to install malt-distilling capacity with their grain distilleries. Like most, this one was short-lived with the stills installed at Strathclyde by Schenley Industries in 1957 before being ripped back out again by Whitbread in 1975. Kinclaith distillery was only operational for 18 years, making its single malt bottlings extremely rare and highly sought-after. This particular release is a 35-year-old single malt, distilled in 1969 and bottled in 2004 by Signatory Vintage from cask number 301443.
