Description

Established in 2009, Kingsbarns is one of Scotland's newer distilleries. This 'Founders' Reserve Inaugural Release' is the distillery's first ever single malt Scotch whisky, bottled in 2018 from several casks filled in 2015. It was produced solely for the Kingsbarns Founders' Club and is the first in a series of five annual bottlings. The whisky was matured in 1st fill bourbon barrels supplied by Heaven Hill Kentucky distillery, chosen for their succulent wood tannins that balance with the complex Kingsbarns spirit.
