This Single Malt Komagatake 40th Anniversary Special Edition is a special single malt whisky commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Mars Komagatake Distillery, which was established in 1985. It is crafted by vatting malt whiskies from four distinct decades: the 1980s, 1990s, 2010s, and 2020s (excluding the silent period of the 2000s). The whisky is matured in diverse casks such as ex-Bourbon Barrels, Sherry Casks, and American Oak Casks, and is bottled non-chill filtered to deliver a taste closer to cask strength.
