Nose
Crystal clear with a slightly glycerous appearance. Attractive aromas include lifted notes of very ripe pear / pear nectar, precisely like a piece of fresh fruit, with an oily aroma behind it.
Palate
Pears, fresh almost-ripe green pears. The texture is full but the palate is drying, not at all sweet or cloying. It is dry, with sweet notes, and the pear flavour is intense and pervading, genuinely tasting like eating a pear suffused with alcohol - a starburst of intense fruit in high quality spirit.
Finish
Fresh, clean and warming with a drying sensation.
