Description
This is the long serving core range 16-year-old from Lagavulin, first introduced in 1988 by United Distillers as part of the Classic Malts of Scotland collection. These early versions of the release continued to feature the name of former licensee White Horse Distillers on their label, as well as the company's royal warrant, until the year 2000 when the latter expired and the references were removed. This Islay single malt whisky is known for its complex, full-bodied, and well-balanced character, with a powerful and smoky profile.
