Strong with lots of smoke, iodine, sweet spices, sherry tones, creamy vanilla, and sometimes notes of green tea, cured meats, tar, bonfire, driftwood, camphor, hemp rope, salted caramel, clementines, white peaches, and sea air.
Palate
Strong and rich, full mouthfeel with fruity sweetness and sherry, lots of peat and oak, dry peat smoke with gentle sweetness, sea and salt, hints of wood, sugar-coated peanuts, smoked barley husks, grilled beef, black olives, oranges, earthy peat, tar, seaweed, and sometimes a surprising oily/chewy texture.
Finish
Long, spicier finish, peat smoke again, dates, figs, vanilla, salty tang, smoked bacon, walnuts, hints of shoe polish, iodine, and diesel.
