Nose
Classic bacon notes and coal smoke blends with clean, crisp citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon. Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate
Dense smoke with a robust, almost meaty texture. Aniseed and black pepper combine with sweeter notes of honey-glazed ham, orange peel and marzipan. Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish
Tarred rope and sooty smoke make for a classic Islay finish. Lingering finish.
