Nose
Intense smoke with notes of linseed oil and tea, faint hints of milk chocolate and lemon, developing fragrant, tea scented smoke alongside nose drying, maritime aromas.
Palate
Creamy-smooth texture and a sweet initial taste, balanced by saltiness, with fast-rising smoke and considerable peppery spiciness. Full Lagavulin taste, charred with minty dark chocolate, and rich complex dark and tropical flavours.
Finish
Long, with more smoke and plenty of spiciness, finishing dry with lingering smoke. Slightly cooling, with an aftertaste of Szechuan pepper, subtle minted smoke, chocolate tannins, and a warming, dry, sweet smoky linger.
