Nose
Mild with a light prickle. Sweet peat smoke like a recently extinguished bonfire, with notes of medical supplies, carbolic, and dentists' mouthwash on an ashy base. Salty sea breeze, seaweed, and mineral maritime notes. Hints of tangy fruity aromas like Bramley apples, toffee, vanilla, and slight molasses.
Palate
Smooth and unexpectedly sweet, intense and very smoky from the off. Notes of citrus, spice, and ashes, with hints of sea salt, honey, peat, tar, and campfire. Underlying sweetness of apricots, pears, vanilla, and salted caramel.
Finish
Long, warming, sweet, and delightfully smoky. Notes of embers, sea, caramel, and lemony tones with a dash of salt. Lightly drying, leaving a smoky breath.
