Description

This Lagavulin 1979 Distillers Edition is a highly sought-after Islay single malt, distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1997. It was the first release in the legendary Distillers Edition series, which sees Classic Malts enhanced in carefully chosen wine casks. This expression was double matured, finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, adding richness and sweetness to Lagavulin's characteristic smoky intensity.
