Description

The Lakes The Whiskymaker's Editions Iris is an exceptional single malt whisky from The Lakes Distillery, situated in the Lake District, England. Part of 'The Whiskymaker's Editions' series, which showcases the whiskymaker's sense of adventure in cask selection, maturation, and blending, Iris is an intentional diversion from the distillery's usual sherry-led house style. This limited release was originally bottled for the Belgian market in 2023. The distillery, founded by Paul Currie in 2011, uses traditional techniques with modern innovations, including copper pot stills, and water from the River Derwent.
