The Lakes Whiskymaker's Editions Sequoia is a bold, expansive, balanced, and multi-dimensional single malt whisky from The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, England. It is the sixth release in The Whiskymaker's Editions series, which showcases the whiskymaker's sense of adventure in cask selection, maturation, and blending, offering a diversion from the distillery's usual sherry-led style. Inspired by the iconic and ever-changing landscape of North California's renowned wine country, Sequoia is heavily influenced by a diverse combination of cask types, primarily ex-wine casks. This limited release was bottled in 2021 at 53% ABV and is non-chill filtered. A total of 4,300 bottles were released, with 1,300 for the UK market and 3,000 for international markets.
