Elements of Islay Lp7 is an independent bottling from Elixir Distillers, part of the 'Elements of Islay' series which identifies single malts from individual Islay distilleries with periodic symbols. This particular release, Lp7, is a Laphroaig single malt, distilled in 1998 and matured for 18 years in four first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled in 2016 at 52.8% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and known for its rich, peaty character, combining modern ashy styles with older fruit-driven spirit.
