Nose
Intriguing mix of smoke and cream. Coal tar soap, deck oil, dried seaweed, tar. Sugared almond and vanilla. Old wood, a little damp, slightly moldy. Subtle peat smoke.
Palate
Quite sweet then the peat ramps up into Germoline iodine. A silky feel. Sweet and juicy apricots meet light peat smoke, nougat, toffee and milk coffee. Wood spice.
Finish
Medicinal and dry. Long, Laphroaig par excellence.
