Nose
From start a very present nose, with a lot of peat and fruitiness. Wood smoke, roasted meat, some whiffs of sulphur, fireworks, and plums. After some time, alcohol comes more to the front, making things even more present.
Palate
Initially this sal ammoniac kick, but also with a sour, fruity note underneath, and some creamy structure with caramel sweetness. Tobacco as well, cigarette ash. Some prunes, raisins.
Finish
More smooth now, ashy, a bit of bitter smokiness. Licorice, tobacco, quite a long finish. A bit drying mouthfeel as well. Warming.
