Nose
Extremely sooty and earthy, farmy, hay, grass, a touch of manure, garden bonfire, wet paint, wool, wet dogs, tallow, ink, chamomile tea. Delicately floral and woody with a little smoke and sweet vanilla without a medicinal smell. Peat, saltiness, medicinal, brine.
Palate
Astringency, teas, soot, ashes, coal, liquorice, earth, camphor, grape pips oil. Liquid sunshine with a touch of smoke and pepper, salty sweetness, oily, viscous and thick with complex hints of floral, smoke and peppers. Oak dominant, then salt, milky barley.
Finish
A bit short, cardboardy, nice touches of grapefruit in the aftertaste. Long lingering pepper and smoke. Classic seaweed, with a hint of citrus.
