Nose
Intense and vibrant with an immediate wave of medicinal peat, ash and sea spray. Notes of smoked lemon, tar and damp rope emerge, followed by softer hints of honey and vanilla. With air, green apple, malt and a touch of olives and leather appear.
Palate
Full-bodied and oily with an assertive burst of peat smoke and ash up front. Flavours of salted caramel, citrus peel and toasted malt follow, with notes of black pepper, wet stone and a hint of seaweed.
Finish
Long, smoky and coastal. Peat, salt and citrus linger with underlying hints of honey and vanilla. Towards the end, gentle ash, charred wood and mineral freshness give a clean, satisfying close.
