Description

Morrison & MacKay are relatively new to the independent bottling scene, although they are definitely not amateurs in the whisky world. The Morrison in the company name refers to one of the sons of the legendary Stanley P. Morrison, Brian. Morrison & MacKay try to run their company in a way that is least damaging to the environment with a particular focus on avoiding using unnecessary packaging. This Ledaig 1997 is part of their 'Celebration of the Cask' series, distilled in October 1997 and bottled in September 2017 after 19 years of maturation in a Bourbon Hogshead.
