Nutty oloroso, coffee cake, fruit & nut dark chocolate, hints of peel heavy marmalade, maraschino cherries, and sweeter jammy dried fruit notes. Milk chocolate praline and nougat.
Palate
Weighty malt with plums and dried fruits from sherry influence. Spices, toast and chocolate spread, chewy raisin, and an oily, herbaceous undertone. Rich fruitcake.
Finish
Slightly bittersweet, chewy, oaky, and leathery. Melted brown sugar and chocolate-covered honeycomb.
