Description

Founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, the distillery was destroyed and completely rebuilt by his son William in 1872. In 1971, four stills were installed in a second adjacent distillery, named Linkwood B. The two stills of the old distillery, renamed Linkwood A, were permanently decommissioned in 1996.
