- Nose
- Melon and apricot, with a touch of toffee in the background. Quite grassy. Floral notes of lilac, rose and jasmine, followed by rose water, marzipan, vanilla with fine roasted aromas in the background.
- Palate
- Double cream dusted with brown sugar, flapjacks, a hint of roasted coffee bitterness. Soft and waxy on the tongue. Initially sweet like baked apple and rum. Then slightly dry with notes of black tea and herbal candies. Some vanilla, ginger and cloves.
- Finish
- Clove, pine resin, green apple and a touch of zesty tropical fruit - mango and coconut, perhaps. Long-lasting and warming. Oak and pepper but also milk chocolate.
