Description

Linkwood single malt has always been considered a key component of many popular blends, such as Johnnie Walker and White Horse, with much of its output reserved for these as a result. This 12-year-old Linkwood was released by independent bottler Fable as Chapter 2 of their 'Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay' series, which brings legendary myths to life through art and showcases hand-selected single malts. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021, it matured in a single hogshead cask and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration.

Palate
Sweet and soft initially, with green fruits and acidity, lemon, crisp green apple, fresh mint, green tea, white chocolate, honey (with water), pineapple, toffee-like, light caramel, toasted almonds.
Finish
White chocolate, lavender, fresh green apple skin, clean and refined finish, gentle spice notes, white grapefruit.
