Nose
Deep and fruity; glacé cherries, tinned apricots, greengages, but also creamy and rich, like brioches fresh from the oven. With water, still fruity, but now fresh cherries, plums and soft brown sugar appear too. Becomes more oily (linseed), then settles down to fragrant sandalwood.
Palate
A good interpretation of the nose - thick, smooth fruity and sweet to taste. Rosewater, anis, perfume.
Finish
Spicy, drying and long. Nutmeg, and even traces of snuff.
