Nose
Intense smoke, strong alcohol, sweet malt, grains, earthy notes, subtle sherry, minty coolness. Sherry notes develop with raisins, oak, sulfur, herbs, licorice, and hints of summer fruits. Later, dark, sweet sherry with medicinal, soy sauce, and fermented soybean notes. Creamy, honey sweetness emerges, with smoky, green, grainy notes and persistent sulfur. Citrus sweetness.
Palate
Rich and creamy with honey, candied apple, candied pineapple, and herbal notes from the sherry. Strong alcohol with a burning sensation, followed by sulfur, black pepper, old oak, and smoky, roasted notes with a hint of charcoal.
Finish
Medium to long. Roasted smoky charcoal, burning heat, creamy notes, thick oak, burnt toast, a touch of honey, and lingering sulfur with a light fruity sweetness.
