Description

Linkwood 26 Years Old Red Wine Diageo Special Releases 2008 is one of three intriguing Linkwood single malts, identically aged for 12 years then matured for 14 more, each now in a different cask wood to delicately enhance its distillery character. This limited-edition whisky was distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2008 at a natural cask strength of 55.5%. After a second maturation in sweet red wine casks, this unusually fruity malt should appeal to brandy lovers.
