The mint and aiseed on the nose set a brisk tone, while coconut brings a different feel on the palate. That contrast makes the character more interesting to me than a straightforward sweet-and-spicy style.
Coconut meets fresh lemon zest.
Mint leaves give this a clear herbal thread, and lemon zest returns in the finish. Coconut and Highland heather bring a different side to it. That mix interests me, though the notes sound more varied than focused.
There’s an appealing little contrast here: aniseed gives the nose a clear spicy edge, while coconut brings a softer note on the palate. The mint and pencil shavings keep the opening fresh and distinctive, and the finish circles back with fresher notes and lemon zest. It sounds more about freshness and texture than a sweet-spice pairing, which makes for a characterful, gently unusual shape.
