Nose
Extremely malty, with hints of sugar-water, ear wax, yellow fruits, and grassy notes. A breath of fresh air, toned down and shy, yet aromatic, with whiffs of American oak, cold butter, hay, and old vanilla. Also noted as oily, slightly waxy, and lemony after aeration.
Palate
Sweet and fruity, with notes of wax, paper, and cardboard, quickly followed by delicious fruitiness like warm apple juice and apricots. A short peak of prickly black pepper and a hint of black coal are present. Also described with hallmark coal smoke, minerals, and fragrant, lemony waxiness.
Finish
A decent finish with a nice fruity aftertaste.
