Little Brown Dog Spirits, also known as 'LBD', was formed in 2013. Based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland, LBD is an experimental MicroDistillery and independent bottler. They focus on creating spirits with locally sourced botanicals and bottling unique single cask whiskies, as well as blended whiskies like Drookit Dug. This 9-year-old blended Scotch whisky is made from a mixture of malt and grain, including some 40-year-old grain, matured in bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled at cask strength with a naturally lower ABV, and is non-chill filtered with natural color.
