Description

Little Brown Dog Spirits, also known as 'LBD', was formed in 2018 by Andrew Smith and Chris Reid, and is an independent bottler and micro-distillery based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The company name references Andrew Smith's beloved dog, Banksy. This Wee Mongrel Batch 2 is a 19-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky, fully sherry cask matured. It spent 18 years in an Oloroso sherry butt before an 8-month finishing period in two fresh Pedro Ximenez sherry hogsheads. It was bottled in 2022 at a natural cask strength of 52.2% ABV, without colouring or chill filtration. A total of 850 bottles were produced for this release.
