Description

A versatile Scotch whisky distillery in Alexandria and named after the famous loch to its north. It was built in 1966 with the intention of being fully self-reliant in its blending responsibilities by producing a variety of single malt and grain whiskies on the same site. A German independent bottling company founded in 2018 by the local politician and whisky hobbyist, Peter Ostendorf.

Warm sweetness, vanilla, dried fruit, apricot, mango, flowery, citrus, yellow cherries, apples, star fruit, pineapple, banana, honey mead, malt, fresh woodcut, lemon milk ice cream, tart spices, salt.
Palate
Fruity and lively, tropical mango and grapefruit, sweet and inviting, spicy with menthol tobacco and tarragon. Water enhances fruitiness.
Finish
Long, layered with old oak, dryness, fruity notes, herbal twist. Medium, hints of porridge, mint, herbs, soft wood spice.
