Dry, smouldering peat smoke with vanilla syrup and cracked black pepper. Floral, sweet, and smoky with rich, dark caramel, dried apple, heather honey, and soft pear. Gentle peat smoke with a slight medicinal element, sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of mint.
Palate
Sweet, medicinal peat and smoked bacon lead into roasted coffee bean with spice notes of clove and star anise. Sweet and expressive with a gentle, meaty barbecue style of smoke. Peppery oak and clove, warming cinnamon spice, toffee, stewed apple and pear.
Finish
Long, waxy peat with citrus hop note and gooseberry. Medium length, with waxy peat and fruity notes of hoppy citrus, gooseberry, apple, and pear. Drying, woody, and ashy with lingering gentle peat smoke.
