Description

A celebration of Loch Lomond's orchard fruit character, Inchmurrin 12 year old Single Malt whisky is brought together by Master Blender Michael Henry, using spirit from their unique Straight Neck stills and aged in selected American Oak casks (ex-bourbon, refill, and re-charred) for a sweeter, mellow taste. It is unpeated and non-chill filtered.

Nose
Vibrant fruity sweetness, with layers of pear, red apples and ripe blueberries. An undercurrent of cereals, allspice, ginger, pepper, and dry grassy notes balances a toffee sweetness. Also, creamy sweet cereals, hints of toffee apples and pear drops, caramel and furniture polish.
Palate
Bursts with peaches, red apples and pears, creating a rich, juicy fruit salad. Hints of grapefruit, offering a zesty note with creamy fudge and vanilla. Milk chocolate and toasted oak mixed with black pepper and allspice. Smooth, rich palate entry with barley malt and salt caramel. Dried herbs, candied peels and allspice.
Finish
Medium length with a fruity sweetness, drying oak and peppery finish. Spicy. Oak spices, orange pith. Finally a touch of milk chocolate.
