Description
A versatile Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond Distillery, built in 1966 with the intention of being fully self-reliant. This 12-year-old single malt is crafted using a combination of unique straight neck pot stills and traditional swan neck stills. It is aged in three types of American oak casks: bourbon, refill, and re-charred, and then brought together by Master Blender Michael Henry to deliver a perfectly balanced single malt with a deep fruity character of peach and pear, layered with vanilla sweetness and a characteristic hint of peat and smoke. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered. This 1L bottle is part of the Global Travel Retail range and is recognized as the Official Spirit of The Open.
