Description

The Lochlea Red Wine Cask 2025 Release is the first in an annual series exploring the influence of different red wine casks on whisky maturation. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky was initially matured in 1st-fill Bourbon barrels before being finished in carefully selected Grenache casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural color. Lochlea Distillery is an independent, family-owned farm distillery in the Scottish Lowlands, known for using 100% of its own barley grown on its land.
