Description

Lochlea Sowing Edition Second Crop is a seasonal small batch release from the independent farm distillery Lochlea, celebrating spring on the farm. It is matured exclusively in fresh first-fill bourbon barrels, bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural color. The barley used is 100% farm-grown on Lochlea's own land. This second release in the Sowing Edition series for 2023 shows a clear progression from the previous edition, with casks selected from higher up in the warehouse for faster maturation.
