Longmorn 25 Years Old Secret Speyside Collection is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, released as part of a series created by Chivas to showcase seldom-seen distilleries. The whisky was triple cask matured for 25 years in American oak barrels, hogsheads and butts, and was bottled in 2019 at a cask strength of 52.2%. It is rich and fruity on the nose with aromas of ripe plum, fresh peach, plump sultanas and a touch of cinnamon. Part of the 'Secret Speyside' Collection from Chivas, this Longmorn is among the oldest releases from the distillery. Whiskies in this series tend to be underappreciated, and this one is no exception. This particular expression owes its wonderfully oaky profile to casks of various sizes.
