Description

A beautiful and well matured Longmorn from 1973, bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 2015. It matured in sherry casks, giving it a well balanced, fruity flavour to say the least. A gentleman's whisky to savour. It takes up two spaces in a parcel because of the beautiful gift box it comes in.

Delicate, refined with quinces, mirabelles, white cherries, cinnamon, beeswax, flowers, old wood, incense, old books, mint, verbena, orange peels, marmalade, and dried apricots.
Palate
Bright, vibrant, fruity with apple pie, demerara sugar, golden raisins, floral honey, waxy notes, resinous touches, tobacco leaves, yellow plums, minty notes, bergamot, herbal tea, and a hint of chocolate.
Finish
Moderate length, slowly drying with a touch of oak char, fruity base, hints of cake, and steeped orange tea with water.
