The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 by Phillip 'Pip' Hills. This is a bottling of Longmorn distilled on November 17, 2003, aged for 17 years in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel, and bottled exclusively for the Virtual Members' Tastings 2021. Longmorn is a Speyside distillery known for producing a sweet, fruity, unpeated spirit.
