Description

Longmorn The Distiller's Choice is a no-age-statement Speyside single malt, released in 2016 as a replacement for the 16 Year Old. It is matured in a combination of hogsheads, Oloroso sherry casks, and ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a sweet, smooth, and spicy whisky with notes of ginger and toffee.

Creamy and full-bodied, with flavors of toffee, gentle spice, caramel, orange zest, milk chocolate, creamy malt, praline, dry cinnamon spiced oaky malt, black pepper, crystallised ginger, peach jam, red apple, and nutmeg.
Finish
Long and warming with notes of oak, spice, lingering fruity sweetness, toffee, red apple, nutmeg, cinnamon spice, faint crystallised ginger, grainy, peppery, and grassy touches.
