A 2017 release from Springbank distillery Campbeltown, a Longrow heavily peated Single malt matured for 18 years. This batch has been aged in a mixture of 60% Refill Sherry casks and 40% Bourbon casks. It is non-chill filtered and limited to 4500 bottles worldwide.

Nose
Mild and well rounded with vanilla and soft notes of orchard fruits. Farmyard notes, metal, motor oil, gunpowder. Sweet fruits, oak, smoke, maritime notes. Apple peels, earthy peat, damp leaves, truffle, woodshed, porridge oats and soot.
Palate
Medium body, grainy texture. Soft caramel and toffee, iron cannon character. Subdued fruits, orange. Creamy, oily mouthfeel with grapefruits, passion fruit, caramel, red fruits. Peaty, spicy, oily with orange zest, pepper, chili. Kippers, smoked meats and honey.
Finish
Medium to long. Caramel, iron cannon, sweet with red apples. Salty smoke, subtle sweetness of dark fruits from refill sherry cask, dry and long. Spicy, oily, dark, earthy peaty.
