- Nose
- Nicely sulphury and smoky with notes of musty white grape, buttery and oily green grape, and subtle tropical fruit. Hints of meaty notes, oak, strawberry, and raspberry are present, alongside funky hay, farmhouse ale yeast, papaya, melon, strawberry jam, dolce de leche, and light sandalwood.
- Palate
- An oily and full mouthfeel with smoky development, leading to spices, oak, ginger, chili oil, orange, and black pepper. Very ripe and yeasty apples, worn towel fabric, buttery pears, wintermelon, sandalwood, chai tea leaves, and subtle salty peat are also noted. It is tarter and smokier than the nose, with upfront saltiness, orange, grapefruit, coconut, nectarine, lemon, basil, burning grass, lapsang souchong, leather, dried leaves, and smoked meat.
- Finish
- Medium to long in length, with chili oil, black pepper, and a spicy character. Spiced cashews, tea leaves, briney peat, red grapes, cherries, black tea, vanilla, maple syrup, and sharp cheddar cheese contribute to a sweet and smoky conclusion.
