Description

Mac-Talla Terra is a single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery on the legendary isle of Islay, released by the Morrison family. The name Mac-Talla means 'echo' in Scottish Gaelic, while Terra relates to earth, paying tribute to the vital role of peat in shaping the distinctive smoky character of Islay whiskies. This expression was aged in American oak casks and offers up plenty of richly smoky peat notes. It is bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour and without chill filtration, embodying a classic Islay style that is smoky, fresh, and maritime.
