Description

This 40-year-old Macallan was released exclusively to travel retail outlets in 2005 and has become highly sought-after. Matured for a minimum of 40 years in hand-crafted Sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain, this is one of just 450 very limited bottles. Although a common age statement in modern Macallan releases, this comparatively early bottling was something of a rarity. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch.
