Description

The Macallans bottled by Campbell Hope & King of Elgin are deservedly legendary. Their quality often even eclipses those by G&M. This 10 year old from the late sixties/1970s is considered an absolute stunner, representing Macallan from the era that made its name legendary. These old Macallans by CH&K were uniformly incredible drams, often sooty, oily, waxy and immensely fruity with bags of rancio, soft phenols, menthol and dried/crystalised fruits.
