Description

Distilled at Macallan on April 27, 1965, and matured in a single Fino Sherry Butt (No. 2114). It was bottled by Carn Mor on June 2, 2008, for their "Celebration of the Cask" range. This rare release was one of two Macallan expressions that launched Carn Mor's "Celebration of the Cask" series. The cask yielded 484 bottles at a cask strength of 54.1% ABV.

Smells sweet, the fino sherry is light and play full, hints of cinnamon but then a nice grapefruit note.
Palate
With a little water Sweet but still packing a punch with some crackling spices, there is a bunch of fruit gum flavours, lemon, grapefruit, a little yellow plum, balance is ok but you need to get the right amount of water.
Finish
Remaining sweet, but still hot.
