Description

The Darkness! range offers a different take on many distillery's traditional styles, with each expression finished for over 3 months in specially commissioned octave casks from The Speyside Cooperage. Nose. Clove-studded orange, blackcurrant jam, mahogany and cinnamon. Palate. Christmas cake, toasted vanilla pod, damson, raisin and stem ginger. A hint of old Cognac develops in the background. Finish. Very long and flavoursome, with continued dried fruit and rancio.
