Macallan Decades Twenties, Sherry Cask, 2004, 40%

This Macallan Decades Twenties is part of a collectible range of four variants, recreated by Macallan's Whisky Maker to reflect the style of The Macallan in the 1920s. The distinctive packaging features a classic mode of travel from that era. To re-create the 1920s style, the Master Distiller sampled bottles from that decade and matched their aroma and flavour with more recent distillations. The 1920s Macallan style is described as slightly drier and less toffee sweet than modern-day Macallan.
