Nose
Wild flowers, noble, lots of oak spices, honeycomb/butterscotch, vanilla, dry fruit (prunes and raisins), treacle, floral meadowland with saw grass, timothy and wild flowers.
Palate
Smooth and sweet like thinned maple syrup, woody, green and piney, oak vanilla, honeycomb, brown sugar, malty barley, soft sherry smoke, dry fruits, fresh citrus fruit, citrus and candy, hints of ginger and cinnamon, gentle oak tones, roasted apples.
Finish
Dry and more bitter, orange with a little spice (clove), bitter orange marmalade, pepper, caramel treacle, ghostly vestiges of sherry smoke, green grapes, figs and raisins, medium sweet, malty and slightly dry, lingering, with dried fruit, oak and spice.
