Description

This is a very limited bottling of Macallan, bottled on the 1st September 2008 to commemorate the recommissioning of stills which had lain silent for 20 years. Crown jewel of the Edrington Group and one of the best-known names in single malt Scotch, made famous by the legendary status of much of the whisky it has produced over the years, including its Fine & Rare series, Anniversary malts and flag. This limited edition 12 year old was released in November 2009 and was only available at the distillery, with a total outturn of 1,002 bottles.
