Nose
Stupendous, ultra-sherried fruit notes of blackberries, cherries, strawberries, and raspberries, blending with rich dark chocolate, raisins, dates, and plums. Accompanied by a waxy, old paper scent, orange, apricot, sweet honey, caramelized brown sugar, chinotto, and a light balsamic hint.
Palate
Fruity notes persist, evolving into elegant pipe tobacco, tamarind, wood spices, and black tea leaves. Vanilla, caramel, and chocolate provide sweet structure, balanced by a drier, balsamic side with rhubarb and eucalyptus.
Finish
Medium length, with red fruits, tobacco, tea leaves, and caramelized brown sugar. Oak, dried fruits (walnuts and hazelnuts), and citrus.
